OBJECTIVES OF THE MASTERCLASS

The discussion between the importance of ideas and execution when starting a Start Up has been in the debate for many years. Consensus tends to conclude that ideas abound and execution is key so there is a lot of content out there on how to perfect execution. In this Masterclass we will focus on the ideas part, how to identify ideas that are feasible and how to quickly test if the idea has a future.

FUNDACION SCOUT INTERAMERICANA

The Interamerican Scout Foundation (IASF) is a nonprofit corporation incorporated in Texas, United States. It dates back to 1980 when it was established by the 12th Scout Conference in Chile. On July 29, 1999, the U.S Internal Revenue Service conferred upon the IASF the tax-exempt status of a public foundation. By permanently increasing its endowment fund, the IASF uses the dividends it generates to support the development of Scouting in Latin America and the Caribbean. The mission of the Scout Movement in the Interamerican region is to contribute to the education of young people, through a value system based on the Scout Oath and Law, to help build a better world.

MARCELO GUERRA HAHN

Computer Engineer from Uruguay. It has since settled in the United States. He has worked 9 years at Microsoft, 5 years at Tableau and is currently working in the universe of start ups. His first start up in which he has worked was one dedicated to data analysis and electronic commerce; and is currently working in an education start up.
