London 28 May 2024 - FuturED and Google HOLA extend their invitation to the entire community to participate in the new edition of the "free" digital training programme "Google HOLA Talent 2024" dedicated to professional development for LatinX students and professionals.
This programme offers free training on professional development, job application tips and personal brand building, aimed at LatinX students and professionals in Europe, the US and Latin America.
The aim of the programme is to help Latino professionals design, plan and advance their careers. The training sessions will be streamed live via YouTube Live. The training will be delivered in English with live subtitles in Spanish, ensuring access to a wider audience.
Google HOLA is a group of professionals whose mission is to promote the representation and advancement of the LatinX community and its allies within Google globally, while also seeking to influence the business to make a positive impact on the Latin American community.
The LatinX community faces significant barriers to employment in Europe, including language, discrimination, and lack of education and specific skills. This training programme aims to help the LatinX community overcome these barriers, facilitating their entry into the labour market or their professional advancement.
In addition, the lack of skilled workers is a challenge for the UK and the EU. Latinos possess a wealth of skills and experience that can be valuable for European companies. By providing training to the LatinX community, they can contribute to making the European economy more competitive.

The programme will take place in two stages, each with different dates and central themes:

Thursday 27 June: Leadership for the Digital Age
