Gloria Hooper, Baroness Hooper, CMG, DSG, FRSA, FRGS is a British lawyer and a life peer in the House of Lords in the United Kingdom.

Her Ladyship was educated at La Sainte Union Convent High School, Southampton, and at the Royal Ballet School. She attended the University of Southampton, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in law in 1960 and at Universidad Central del Ecuador, where she was a Rotary Foundation Fellow.

Baroness Hooper is keenly interested in education, sustainable development, and fostering relations between the United Kingdom and Latin America, Baroness Hooper is actively involved in various organisations and initiatives in these areas.

In September 1995, Her Ladyship opened The British School of Quito, in Ecuador. In addition, she is also the current President of BESA (British Educational Providers Association).

Since the beginning, Baroness Hooper has actively supported and encouraged our work at FuturED, and in April 2021, she was the main speaker at the launch of our educational platform.
